The Douliu Hash is taking its show on the road this month. Yours truly, Crampee Buxibum, BBB and Chia-Pat-Him-Down have created a lovely trail through the environs of Zhongpu, Chiayi’s green suburb. Come on out on Saturday, April 27, and have a good time with Mother Nature and some friends.
There are two meeting points. For those coming in by train (or with extra seating in your car), we’ll be meeting at 1:00 at the back of the Chiayi train station (that’s right, the station’s rear) just off of Bo-Ai Rd. Look for Hugo’s van.
(Car directions: Sun Yat-sen Highway(Route 1) to Chiayi exit – Beigang Rd into Chiayi– left at Zhong-sing Rd (McDonald’s on right, Chiayi Hospital on left) – follow Zhong-sing Rd. (it bears to the right twice) straight on to Chiayi Station).
If you already have a full car, head down Second National North-south Highway (Route 3) and get off at the Zhongpu exit. Turn left towards Zhongpu, go under the overpass and turn into the first parking lot on the right. It’s a tour bus stop/restaurant and a TTL(Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor) distributorship. The Kaohsiung hash will be meeting there as well. The train-station group will show up there at around 1:15 and then go onto to the start.

Addendum (from SGT):
If you are coming from Douliu, we will still be meeting at the Baseball Stadium, but we will be meeting at 12:00 noon so that we can arrive in Chiayi on time.
