TouLiu Hash House Harriers, Red Dress Pub Crawl.

Saturday evening, December 31st (Old Years Night), The TLH3 hosts it’s first-ever (though not likely to be the last) RED DRESS PUB CRAWL! It goes something like this, although – in true hash style – it could go horribly wrong:

Meet and register at Roxy’s Bar from 5.00pm, and receive your beer coupons. (The start cooler will be available). The hares will set off at about 6.00pm, marking a short (2.5 – 3.00km) trail to the first bar. From there it’s a short hop to the next 2 bars, and the down downs. After the down downs, we head off to the 4th bar, and then to the final stop – back at Roxy’s, hopefully by about 11.30pm. Sticking with tradition, the 11 minute black and white classic, ‘Dinner For One’ will be broadcast just prior to 2012. Roxy’s will finally close sometime in the new year, depending on demand.

We have negotiated and received some kind of tacit permission to use the parking behind Roxy’s for the night. If you are driving here, come to the bar and we can direct you to the parking. The other option is to find a cheap hotel near the train station, and then just walk to Roxy’s

Other bits of info:

  • There is no short-cutting allowed on this trail; the only way to get a catch, is to run the hares down before they get to the first bar – extremely difficult, as they get a 15 minute start, and a CHECK on a night city run can be brutal to bust.
  • We hope to have some snacks available on trail
  • Run fees: 500/600nt Harriett’s/harriers.
  • The beers coupons will be bar-specific, one per bar. If you wish to have a second beer/drink at a particular venue, you need to purchase it separately (This is not recommended, as we want to keep things moving – we have an appointment with 2012)
  • For the same reason above, the Down Downs will be fairly short and sharp. Please try to follow protocol – whatever the heck that is – and not be too disruptive. The DD’s will also start promptly at a time announced at the 3rd bar.
  • It could be pretty cold, even wet. Be prepared for all climatic permutations.

Please stay posted, as information is sure to change, be updated (or down graded), or simply vanish, as the great moment approaches.
