Hot on the heels of the last run, we have moved the Douliu Hash to the LAST SATURDAY of every month. We also needed a make-up run, so hares DDT and Paddy McGroin came up with a short, but great trail with a spectacular finish (see the pictures). After basking in the waterfall and basin pools while refreshing themselves with cold beers, the hashers moved back to the start to have down downs. Since it was so late, the down downs were rather short.
DDT and Paddy McGroin shared a drink for another successful hare run. Paddy McGroin was also awarded his Qualified Hare patch! On on to him finding his own trail next month!
There were two first timers – Ilze and Joan – as well as 2 second timers – Ben and Caleb. There were several third timers, so we had plenty of names to give out. Third timer Nichole was given the name One Thumb’s Up for flashing her breasts and getting a single thumbs up from Mr. Miso, the Sunflower owner. Abby, Paddy McGroin’s better half, was given the name Lassie O’Hare, a complement/antithesis to Paddy McGroin. Kim was given the name Bending Boners for her voluptuousness and her habit of man-hating when she’s had a few too many. Second-timers Ben and Caleb were on their way back to New Zealand, so we made an exception and gave them hash names, as well. Ben was named Wolf in Faggot’s Clothing for his tie-dyed shirts and wolf bedsheet. Caleb was named Lazy Reacharound for his desire to do fuck all except go gay in Taiwan.
The men’s hashit was passed from Crampee Buxibum to KCG, WIFC, and LR for hashit asshattery. The women’s hashit was passed from One Thumb’s Up to…. One Thumb’s Up for coming up with weak nominations.

SGT has round a puppy. He is very healthy, looks like he’ll be a smaller breed, and is free to a good home. If you are interested, contact SGT or DDT. See the pictures on the Roxy’s website.
-General Penalties-
SGT gave a down down to WiFC for good trailmarking, even though it was only his second hash. DDT and SGT had to drink several times for offenses such as “not explaining that running was involved” “Doing a good job with the hash,” and, oddly, “not drinking enough.”
SGT had several drinks for messing up the hash #s and not cleaning up his puppy’s poop (which everyone except SGT proceeded to step in). Paddy McGroin gave a down down to first-timer Rhys for wearing his pub crawl attire to the hash. Lassie O’Hare had a drink for good running. Ilze and Joan shared a drink for canoodling on their first hash, and Crampee Buxibum was given his 10-Run Patch. ON ON to 20 runs!
The hash proceeded to Huashan for a small, cheap, but good dinner at a local restaurant before proceeding back to Douliu and an on-after at Roxy’s bar.
Next hash is August 27 – the last Saturday. On on to run 26!
